Great Hotel in town!

A curious series of events directed my wife and me to locate ourselves in San Miguel, Cozumel. We were recommended this resort, and we’re pleased with the choice. It’s a gorgeous hotel, in a superb location. Really nicely laid out, with fantastic facilities and pleasant, courteous and efficient staff.

The breakfast buffet, 7.30-11.30, is quite high, a lot of choices and set out at a beautiful patio area of the hotel. My only gripe, and it’s really quite little, is your Wi-Fi, while adequate in the sofa area, really doesn’t work very well anywhere else. But I have no hesitation in recommending this resort, absolutely charming and a delight to stay in.

From the very first moment we arrived, we knew we’d found the ideal place to keep in town! The staff is excellent; they told me about some tours of how to scuba for the first time in cozumel something I’m very interested to try. Shout-out into Victor at the front desk, Jaime at the bar, Santos at breakfast and to the remainder of the team! Room was spotless; filtered water, computer size safe, excellent wi-fi, and fridge were some of the nice perks at the apartments.

The pool is small but nice pool deck and to get an in city resort this works well. Walking distance to all sorts of restaurant choices. Short cab ride to shore clubs and beach bars. We will definitely be returning to Casa Mexicana because this is now our new go-to hotel when visiting Cozumel!

We celebrated with an extended winter vacation. This is our 5th trip to Cozumel. After 6 days in bed and breakfast, we transferred to Casa Mexicana. Here is the best 3-star resort we’ve ever stayed at. From the check-in to the conclusion we were never disappointed. Spotless, updated rooms.

Great beds. Delicious breakfast. Casa Mexicana is near the Punta Langosta pier. This Iowa farm kid watched these cruise ships dock and depart virtually daily. I never tire of watching those behemoths glide into port. So much attention to detail, cloth tablecloth, and napkins in breakfast, good food choices, well-trained employees, great mojitos. We visited with guests staying there for 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 2 months. People don’t do this unless they are well taken care of. This place provides. My compliments to the possession and direction of the fantastic eco-friendly property.

We had not booked a sea view room at the front of the resort but gave us a fantastic room overlooking the Cruise ship dock that also gave us magnificent sunsets. A great sized room which was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent – lots of options to get hot meals and tons of fruit. The smoothie maker is a good idea. The eggs are cooked by Santa – a lovely lady who manages it with relaxed poise. Delicious. The pool is small but needed after a hot afternoon exploring amazing Cozumel. Excellent hotel.
